Topeka.org: Reminder from the City of Topeka Street Section
The City of Topeka Street Section would like to remind residents not to push leaves and other yard debris into the street. Yard debris deposited in the street clogs storm drains causing street and intersection flooding.
Those caught pushing leaves into the street could be fined.
Residents are encouraged to deposit yard debris at the City’s Yard Material Recycling Facility just northeast of I-70 and MacVicar between 8 a.m. and noon, and from 1 to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Fees range from $10 and up for dumping.
