Sorry your Hazel Hill experience yesterday wasn’t the best. Although I don’t work there, I did place a very large order for Valentine’s Day and know that the holiday has them very busy. Probably their biggest day of the year. Hopefully your next trip will be better… and I know Hazel Hill reads this blog, so potentially you’re offering them suggestions to help improve for next time.

For what it’s worth, I sent my husband to Daddycakes yesterday to pick up a couple of homemade cupcakes. But given the timing, and my spur of the moment craving for a cupcake, they were completely out of stock of all cupcakes except margarita-flavored, and I really had my heart set on something chocolate. Although I was a little disappointed, I know the cupcakes will taste that much better next time around!

Hopefully you’ll have the same experience with Hazel Hill. Definitely don’t give up on them, I promise you won’t regret it!

I visited Hazil hill today. They were very busy, and nothing had a price where you could see it. Some items didn’t have tags that told what it was, either. It would have saved a lot of time, to know what things cost. We didn’t want to wait in line to find out what the price was, just to find out if we needed to start over each time, if we didn’t want to pay that amount. So, we just left. Everything did look & smell great! Too bad we didn’t have the time to ask, nor did they have the time to tell us all the prices. We would have made it out of the store with something delicious, otherwise, I’m sure of it. Maybe another time.

Try a Snickers apple — pure heaven! A word of caution though — they are big and rich, so you may want to share one with a buddy. I can’t believe this hasn’t been mentioned yet — your’re missing out, people!!!

I’ve never tried a “Thing” … sounds like I need to make a trip to Hazel Hill.

Hazel Hill has great candy. Don’t have a lot of money? For one dollar you can get a chocolate, vanilla, or lemon ‘Thing’. Yes, that’s the name – Thing. They are a very moist, rich cake-like center covered with milk or white chocolate. Definitely worth the trip. Today they were giving out free samples of chocolate peanut butter fudge. Excellent!

I love Hazel Hill Chocolates! Every time I visit… I go for the chocolate dipped strawberries. They also have the best sugar free chocolates selection around.

They have shown artwork in the past (mine at least), and it sold very well. They don’t have a ton of wall space, but enough for a couple of nice-sized paintings.
